Stop staring
London to Paris under the Channel in 3 hours

With any vacation, you want to do sufficient research so that you can take full advantage of the region you’re in as well as your time. When people go to Europe, they usually just say “Europe” – this is because all the countries are easily accessible through the railroad system. You don’t need to limit yourself to one city. Train tickets are fairly inexpensive (depending on your starting location and destination) and convenient.

The best way to travel within Europe is by train. It is faster, cheaper and more convenient than flying within Europe. You can buy your tickets at the station, no need to book in advance (would be a good idea if it is a long distance train though). Getting to Europe – you have to fly, but while you’re there, use the Europeans’ preferred mode of transportation. Booking a hotel is not as strenuous as trying to land cheap airfare because you don’t need to constantly monitor it. Hotel rates generally do not fluctuate as much as airfare and so you can be pretty confident that if you find a good deal that it won’t change the next day. With airfare, the price can change within hours. Since time of check-in and check-out don’t really matter too much, booking online would be the ideal way. Be your own travel agent, it saves you money. While you’re there spend your time wisely and most of all…HAVE FUN!
